Bluetooth
A local communications technology for voice and data. It is normally seen as a personal area communication technology with range of 20 m. Free2move long range Bluetooth have, however, more than 500 m range in normal conditions. This is unique in the industry.
GSM, GPRS and 3G
GSM, GPRS and 3G are all technologies for Wide Area Networking. The Technology by Free2move™ platforms integrate directly or indirectly these technologies for global access.
Wireless LAN
WiFi or Wireless LAN is a technology based on the IEEE standard 802.11 for high capacity data transfer. This technology is the basic transport mechanism for voice and audio distribution in what is called Voice over IP (VoIP). Free2move has expertise in this area and the technology is an integrated part of some projects under Technology by Free2move™.
GPS
GPS is a global standard for the positioning of different devices. Technology by Free2move™ platforms leverage this technology to position devices.
